Andrea Epting

Mrs. Andrea M. Epting is a Savannah Native and Graduate of St. Vincent’s Academy. She attended The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and graduated with a double major in Psychology and Religious Studies. After receiving her Master’s Degree in Psychology with a specialty in Professional Counseling, she began a career as a psychotherapist. Andrea has been working locally in the field of Addiction and Mental Health with a total of 14 years of practice. She is a practicing Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, EMDR Certified Therapist, Certified Sex Therapist, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor. She is a part of LPCA-GA (Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia), NAADAC (Association for Addiction Professionals), Georgia Addiction Counselor Association (GACA), and a member of emdria (EMDR International Association) and IITAP (International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals). Andrea has been a private practitioner since 2007 where she provides professional counseling services for adults, adolescents, couples, and families, specializing in eating disorders, sexual dysfunctions and compulsivity, and trauma-initiated addiction. Additionally, she is the Founder and Managing Director of Heads-Up Guidance Services (HUGS). Andrea works with HUGS to provide collaborative services in the Savannah community. In 2018, Resolve Strategies was created to provide sought-after specialized services and workshops that will aggressively address trauma-induced process addictions.

Alia Carata

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
LPC, NCC

Alia is experienced in the treatment of clients on issues involving trauma, abuse, eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, addiction, attachment wounds, & interpersonal relationships. She uses various therapeutic modalities including EMDR, IFS, attachment-focused therapy, and trauma-sensitive meditation/movement. Currently, Alia contracts with Resolve Strategies, Inc., and volunteers for Heads-Up Guidance Services (HUGS), a nonprofit outpatient mental health and substance abuse counseling center. Alia works with individuals of all gender identities and romantic/sexual orientations.

Gregory Martin

Gregory Martin is originally from the Greater Pittsburgh Area, graduating from CACREP accredited masters counseling program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Combining his personal experience of a lifetime saturated with internet culture and gaming, Gregory Martin offers a modern perspective when addressing porn addiction. In addition to porn addiction and sexual compulsivity, Gregory Martin also works with: gaming addiction, grief, depression, codependency, and anxiety.

 

Currently practicing with Resolve Strategies, Inc. providing: individual, family, collaborative, couples, and group therapy services.

Gregory provides mental health services under the supervision of Andrea Epting, LPC, MAC, CPCS, ACS, CST, CSAT, and the Clinical Director and Client Rights Advocate of Resolve Strategies, Inc.

Mary Bartido

As a Filipina, Mary understands the difficulties and stigma of being vulnerable with a stranger and being open to one’s personal difficulties. Have you ever felt like you needed extra support and are unsure of who you can reach out and talk to? Or better yet, felt as though no one understands the struggle of being "you"? This is why as a therapist and an Asian American, Mary strives to create a safe and inviting environment for her clients in order to break the stigma surrounding mental health. By using a psychodynamic and eclectic approach, she assists her clients by meeting them at their current level and need.

Mary's counseling background has focused on ADHD, trauma, and mood disorders. She works with individuals of all gender identities and romantic/sexual orientation. She currently contracts with Resolve Strategies, Inc. where Mary provides outpatient services as well as volunteering for Heads Up Guidance Services and working in child/adolescent acute & residential treatment.

Michelle Colón

Mitzi Tyre

APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC

Mitzi was born and raised in South Georgia. She attended Valdosta State and Georgia Southern University, having received a bachelor and masters degree in nursing and also achieving certification through American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked locally in the specialty of mental health and substance abuse both in outpatient and inpatient settings for the last 13 years now. Mitzi is well versed in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, bipolar disorder, addiction as well as other mental health related disorders. She has also been employed since 2015 at a non-profit sexual assault and child advocacy center part-time, providing services to victims of physical and sexual abuse, as well as domestic violence. This background has helped equip Mitzi for serving and treating clients with past trauma and abuse.
