Trauma Recovery Intensive

Addressing areas where we feel stuck and looking for lasting change. Resolve Strategies' intensives might be the therapeutic booster needed to go from "want to" to "Resolved"
Trauma Recovery Intensives are held multiple times in the year. They will start on Friday (5:30 PM-8:30 PM) and Saturday (9:00 AM-5:00 PM). Breakfast provided Saturday morning and snacks are provided throughout the day.
The therapeutic techniques utilized during the workshops focus on trauma resolution and include Gestalt, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, memory recollection and reconciliation, cognitive restructuring and mindfulness, flooding, EMDR, psychoeducation, and narrative/art therapy techniques.
Phone/virtual interview is required prior to being enrolled in any of the intensives. Contact Resolve Strategies at 912-507-8576 to complete your scheduled 15 minute interview before booking. Intakes will be conducted on the Friday before the intensives begin, and are included in the total cost. Each intensive cost $250, which translates to $25 an hour. Payments can be made directly from the website by clicking on the PayPal Button. Payments are divided as follows: 25% nonrefundable to reserve your spot, 75% is due upon intake on Friday. Financial assistance may be available to help cover the cost. Call the office for more information. There are only 9 openings per intensive and space is limited. Additional Information:
Inquiring participants must be working with an individual therapist and must be a minimum of 90 days clean and sober from chemicals and/or unwanted behavioral addictions. If you are not an active client with resolve strategies, a release of information to speak with your individual therapist is required.

Betrayal Trauma:Foundations Seminar
Foundations of recovery from betrayal trauma is designed for betrayed partners working through the early stages of discovery and its trauma. This course is recommended post-discovery and pre-disclosure and is strongly encouraged before participating in TASK groups or process groups. The Foundations Course includes psychoeducation with some fundamental TASKs relating to intimacy betrayal and its physiological impact. Through this course you will identify and address topics such as:

addressing the negative effects of gaslighting, blame, and deception

safety-seeking behaviors and rituals

understanding posttraumatic stress

grieving the loss

what is a therapeutic disclosure and dangers of “staggered” disclosure

establishing physical and emotional safety

healing from the trauma

One-day workshop beginning at 8:30 AM and ending at 5:30 PM. This course includes a light continental breakfast in the morning and lunch to be ordered in. Resolving Sexual Addiction/Infidelity & Intimacy Betrayal Trauma
​
These intensive workshops are for individuals and couples impacted by sex addiction, sexually compulsive behavior, intimacy betrayal, and/or partner infidelity. In our intensives we will address trauma, attachment styles, family systems, defense mechanisms, trauma bondage, addiction/Co-addiction disease, sexual health, boundaries, and communication styles/stress response. This workshop is appropriate for any individual and/or couple between Contemplative stage/discovery phase through Action stage/Recommitment phase of the recovery process.

$200.00 deposit required to hold a slot. Remainder of payment due 14 days prior to start date. Refunds available up to 7 days prior (no refunds after that time).
Intensive Recovery Workshops
Additional Information:
90-Sexually Sober and/or 180 days post discovery working towards partner recommitment - must be actively/regularly working with a CSAT or Licensed therapist specializing in trauma/addictions.

12-step Programs & sponsorship through such programs are an integral part of the recovery process. We invite & strongly encourage all Resolve clients and their family members to identify a homegroup and temporary sponsor following intake:
