Strategies

All groups require a 24 week/6 month commitment and a minimum of 6 participants before launching! Certificate of completion will entitle you to the continuing care group offered from 7:30-8:00, included in the cost. 

Session structure: 45 minutes TASK, 25 minutes cohort exercise/ discussion, and 20 minute group process. 

Sexual Compulsivity Groups

Men's Sexual Addiction TASK Group

Scheduled to meet weekly on Thursdays at 6:00 PM and addresses sexual compulsivity and hyper-sexuality. Cost of group is $45 for each 90 minute session. 

Women's Sex & Love Dependency/Anorexia TASK Group

Scheduled to meet weekly on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM  and addresses sexual compulsivity, love dependency, and sexual anorexia. Cost of group is $45 for each 90 minute session. 

 

Betrayal Trauma Group

Betrayal Trauma TASK Group

Scheduled to meet weekly on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM and addresses betrayal trauma as a result of spouse or partner engaging in sexual compulsivity or romantic infidelity. Cost of group is $45 for each 90 minute session. 

Recommitting Couples Group

A Blend of Process and TASK for Couples

Scheduled to meet Tuesdays at 6:00 PM and addresses sexual betrayal, maintaining long-term recovery, and enriching your relationship. Cost of group is $50 per couple for each 90 minute session.

DBT Groups

DBT-Informed Skills Group

Group is scheduled to meet weekly on Mondays 6:00 PM. The group focuses on concepts within Dialectic Behavior Therapy and is designed to help clients learn new skills relating to mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Cost of group is $35 per person.

Virtual DBT Group for Disordered Eating  

Group is scheduled to meet weekly Thursdays from 5:00-7:00 PM and addresses compulsive eating patterns including binging, purging, emotional eating, and restricting. The course lasts 13 weeks and utilizes the DBT Mindfulness, Emotion regulation, and Distress Tolerance models to help group members learn how disordered eating and emotions are linked and behavioral tools to reduce acting on urges. Group members are discouraged from absences since they will fall behind and may have difficulty catching up. New group members will not be admitted after the start of the course, but are welcome to join the next group cycle. Each group member must be working with an individual therapist, must be a resident of Georgia, and must have a device with a camera and microphone to participate in video sessions. Cost: $70 per 2-hour group session.
